We stopped there 8/2023. Switzerland Cafe has delicious food. Homemade desserts too.

I used to live in north carolina. It is a beautiful state.

I’ve owned a place in Barefoot since 2010 and will be there when I retire full time in 10 months and I was shocked how many Steeler and Pittsburgh themed places there are in this area. It’s like a semi tropical western Pennsylvania.

I love their banana split! I usually choose my own ice cream flavors. It is big so I have never even gotten around to eating a burger there.

I hope you enjoyed your stay despite the weather MMM! As high as a small mountain but sure a different view! 🤗

My uncle left the army and married a Sylva native. They lived up on the hill up on top of Spring St. and had a beautiful view of the old courthouse from the back porch and a basset hound named Moose. I visited twice in the 1990s as a kid and teenager. Glad to see City Lights is still in business 25 years later.
